Case Packing & Sending
Carefully packing your case for shipping is crucial for ensuring the quality of both the case and the service we deliver. Damaged models may lead to poorly fitting prosthetics, necessitating a new impression and causing inconvenience for both you and your patient.
Follow these guidelines when sending your cases to the laboratory to guarantee a secure delivery

-
Remove all previous markings and stickers from recycled or reused boxes before shipping. This step is essential to ensure the timely and exception-free arrival of your cases at the lab.
-
Disinfect all case materials, place them in a sealed bag, and wrap each model individually with bubble wrap or foam padding. This protective measure is crucial to prevent damage during shipment, especially for wax-ups.
-
Add additional bubble wrap to fill empty spaces, preventing movement and potential breakage during transit.
-
When shipping an articulator and face-bow:
-
(a) If removing models from the articulator, wrap each one individually.
-
(b) If models remain on the articulator, separate the articulator, wrapping each piece individually and anchoring them in the box. Wrap the face-bow and other enclosures separately.
-
-
When shipping any type of alginate, place the prescription (Rx) in a sealed plastic bag to prevent moisture damage. Staple the Rx bag to the corresponding case bag.
-
For loose crowns, bridges, implant parts, and shade tabs, place them in a separate small container or sealed plastic bag to avoid loss or breakage. Staple them to the Rx, ensuring the patient's name is included.
-
Protect any accompanying photos or slides by placing them in a plastic bag.
-
To prevent case mix-ups when shipping multiple cases in one box, bag each case separately.
