How to send a digital impression
At Digital Dental Fever, we prioritize precision through innovative dental technology and accept files from any open system with .STL export capability. At our practice, we utilize a range of intraoral scanning technologies.
Step 1: Sending a Digital Impression
At Digital Dental Fever, we have the expertise to support clinicians who use digital impression systems. Our dental lab uses computer-aided technology to ensure that restorations are a perfect fit and made from state-of-the-art materials.

We accept scans from various platforms such as Sirona CEREC®, Medit Link, and more. Once you capture an impression with your scanning unit, the data seamlessly transfers to our lab. For systems with proprietary connection portals, the data is sent through the approved, established connection.
For open systems, clinicians can easily download scan data and directly transfer it to Digital Dental Fever.
Step 2:
Digital Case Design
Once your scan data is transmitted to the digital network at Digital Dental Fever, a dedicated team of dental technicians conducts a comprehensive clinical evaluation to confirm the readiness of each case for production. Cases that pass the evaluation are then routed to the appropriate technical department, determined by the material and restoration type specified by the clinician.

At Digital Dental Fever, almost the entirety of case design is carried out using specialized dental design software. These purpose-built programs empower our proficient dental technicians to shape every aspect of a restoration. Drawing on decades of traditional lab experience, each click is guided by expertise, ensuring precise fit, function, and aesthetics. This all-digital design process ensures higher accuracy in the final restoration by eliminating errors associated with traditional impressions and the creation of stone models. In fact, many of our modern production workflows can be completed entirely without the need for a physical model. As long as a physical impression is supplied, Clinicians who prefer to validate their restorations on a model still have the option to request one from the laboratory.
Step 3:
Digital Production
After the completion of the digital restoration design, the design file is transmitted to the relevant production team at Digital Dental Fever, determined by the specific material and restoration preferences specified by the clinician.

Whether a clinician submits a case digitally or through traditional impressions, all restorations at Digital Dental Fever are crafted using identical state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies.
